CGR The Requinto is a very high-end, lead-style drum. This drum has high hollow, bottle sounding open tones and cracking slaps. The Requinto and the Quinto together are often used as accent instruments in Rock and Top 40 Music. measurements are : 10" x 30" CGQ The Quinto is the standard lead-style drum. This drum has nice high open tones, great slaps and pops. If I only had two congas to choose from I would play the Quinto and the Tumba. The lead and the base. measurements are : 11" x 30" CGC The Conga is the middle drum. Traditionally it is the conga and the tumba that are played. The conga is a versatile drum. This drum can be tuned many ways. It can be tuned high to sound like the quinto or tuned low to sound like the tumba. This drum has nice mid-range open tones and nice slaps. measurements are : 11 3/4" x 30" CGT The Tumbadora is the low drum.
This drum has beautiful mellow open tones, which give this drum great base-beat
grounding properties for any band or drum circle. That is why they call the
tumba, " Mama " of the congas. measurements are: 12
1/2" x 30"
